Aloof
Under your miseries
You know how to wait
For the time to pass by
Without touching you
They will offer you
Decorated grains.
Erect
In front of your disciples
You order to love you
Than be frightened of you,
For this,
They respect you more
And they believe in you.
Noble
You know how to wait
Because you know
You will reign
My Lord.
I kneel
In your majesty.
--
Now that common opinion
Is out on the roads,
Hitch-hiking.
And the conscience of the world
Is out on the streets
Prostituting herself....
Now that the populace got dressed
In all it's ugliness,
Took it's friends under it's arms
And went, for a cheap price,
To sell them to it's enemies....
Now that there is no hope
For God to pity,
Resist all together
In case men get tired
Of destroying.
And, till that happens
Care only for one thing,
"Exist."
The moment that as a seed
Of burning earth
You will flourish to a grain
Of an eternal land.
--
When I lost my mind
From the weakness of irresponsibility
Where were you hiding, you,
The power of responsibility?
And now, that everything is
deformed
Under the weight of your presence
Tell me, where did I find such
Power to submit to your power?
--
I got tired on the way,
I got exhausted,
I leaned.
I don't know if I am coming
or going.
If the rain that falls on my
face is warm or cold.
I can't distinguish if the
children around me
are laughing or crying
and if people are happy or sad.
I don't know if people still exist
to have such feelings
because I don't have any
and If I ever had
I don't remember
at which turn of the road
I lost them.
I got tired on the way,
I got exhausted,
I leaned.
There, in the center of the scale
where everything blends.
There, where pain gets lost in hedonism
and does not exist.
There, where night married the light
without letting the day see,
and life embraces death.
I leaned and I got lost
in the depth of nonexistence.
I got lost and found
the existence of truth.
--
As many times as
you come tonight
you don't scare me,
I got used by now
like with time
you will get used
as well,
that I fooled you
as at first I managed to fool myself.
The dawn scares me
The light
and my mirror
this one
how can I fool?
--
Don't accuse me,
You, that knows the truth.
Those times at those places
when I believed you were
very little for me,
I could compromise.
The other times,
In the other places,
when I convinced myself
that I was too much for you.
How could you ask me
to be sacrificed?
Don't accuse me,
even if
You got accustomed to it.
--
Words of the night
That slither from
The springs of the senses.
Words of the day
That pass through
The filters of logic.
Words of the sunset
Thrown into the pond of wisdom.
Your words.
--
Hope by hope
I built you
My little world,
My big dream,
And when I arrived
It was still night
And the dawn
Far away.
--
It's enough!
I got fed up with the suffering
I am tired of the enduring
It's enough!
